Dr. Dominic Vallée received the title of Doctor from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in Victoria, B.C., Canada’s oldest TCM. As a student-practitioner, he had the opportunity to treat pain-related disorders such as arthritis, neck and back pain, as well as musculo-skeletal injuries (commonly called sports injuries) and injuries related to car accidents. He also successfully treated airborne and food-related allergies, not to mention emotional issues like anger, frustration, depression and grief. Before completing his studies, Dr. Vallée spent a few years in South Korea, where he volunteered in a private setting under the supervision of an accomplished practitioner of Oriental Medicine and Chuna (a combination of massage Dr. Vallée was also one of the first students to be hired on a cruise ship, working in the acupuncture clinic an Years before he encountered TCM, Dr. Vallée discovered Reiki.
