About Dr. Dominic Vallée

Dr. Dominic Vallée received the title of Doctor from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in Victoria, B.C., Canada’s oldest TCM. As a student-practitioner, he had the opportunity to treat pain-related disorders such as arthritis, neck and back pain, as well as musculo-skeletal injuries (commonly called sports injuries) and injuries related to car accidents. He also successfully treated airborne and food-related allergies, not to mention emotional issues like anger, frustration, depression and grief.

Before completing his studies, Dr. Vallée spent a few years in South Korea, where he volunteered in a private setting under the supervision of an accomplished practitioner of Oriental Medicine and Chuna (a combination of massage
and chiropractic skills). This allowed Dr. Vallée to improve his skills and, more importantly, to
understand and acquire the mindset needed to treat patients successfully. During his time in South
Korea, he treated many patients with stress-related disorders.

Dr. Vallée was also one of the first students to be hired on a cruise ship, working in the acupuncture clinic an
average of thirteen hours a day. Patients there had diverse issues: chronic fatigue, addictions, headaches,
and more. This experience also gave him the chance to set foot in several countries, like Norway,
Sweden, Russia, Denmark, and France.

Years before he encountered TCM, Dr. Vallée discovered Reiki. What began as a way to heal injuries from
overtraining in the martial arts became a rewarding daily practice for both him and his family. Dr. Vallée
approaches each patient with the utmost respect for the human body, mind and spirit. He believes that pain
is the result of an imbalance of the whole body, and gears treatments toward removing pain and finding
homeostasis, harmonizing yin and yang.
